Security

I have been thinking about this blog and about all the many, many people who have access to reading it. I have found that some folks have found my blog with searches about beaches, sea shell, braces and other various information searches. They aren't searching for our family, but they find us anyway.

I know that some of you who read our blog are family and friends and I am happy to share our adventures with you. I think this is a great way for family and friends to keep in touch and to be kept "in the loop" in regards to what is happening in each other's lives. We take some fun pictures and I know that some of you enjoy seeing them.

However, I'm not sure how comfortable I am posting pictures of my children for the whole world to see. So, for their safety and privacy, I have decided to make our blog more "private". I am going to wait a week or so before I "close" it to the public. If you would like to continue reading our blog, and I am happy to have you, please send me an e-mail or a comment here, and I will add you to the list of people who will have access.

I don't want to alienate anyone. I know 99% of the people looking here are family or friends or just people who know us, and I am happy for that and welcome you all. I just am thinking that for the kids' sake, I should close it to the "general public at large".

So, this is an open invitation, to anyone and everyone that visits us here...please send me your contact info and I will keep the blog open to you - that includes everyone - from Alaska to Texas to Japan and everywhere in between! I don't want to close you out!

So... on to more interesting things -- after next week I will post some of our ocean trip photos. We had a great time and plan to take my dad out again this summer to try and catch a tuna or 2. For spring break, my kids have to go and spend the time with their dad. I think I am going to drive them there. That way I can see my dad and niece and nephew and my dear friends that I miss so much. I hope spring will have found Idaho by then!

There hasn't been much exciting going on lately. Since my dad went back home we have just been catching up on things around the house. We have had nice weather the last couple of days and have spent time in the yard, cleaning it up and getting ready for spring. I'm going to get some grass seed and see if I can get some to take root and have a nice lawn for the summer. I would also like to plant some flowers. We may have to bring in some top soil, since the ground is really hard and rocky here. I am really looking forward to nicer weather and bbq's and family visiting and playing volleyball and badmitton in our nice big yard! I am really excited for those things.

For now...we just got home from church a bit ago. I need to make some lunch then it's off to work. I need to download some of Patrick's homework. We don't have the program on our home computer - another thing I need to do - update our programs :)

I hope you all have a blessed Sunday.

thanks - will do...
was actually thinking of "closing up shop" since only 1 person had shown interest in following our little lives here :) guess I'll re-think that, now

I would like to be included too. Sorry it took me awhile to read this post, but I don't find the time to blog as much as I would like. I am hoping in May when I graduate that will all change.
